Unfortunately it was dark out so the pictures aren&#8217;t too great, but we still took the opportunity to walk around a bit.<\/p>\n<p>The Hanozono shrine was founded in the mid 19th century and is a basic Shinto shrine.  There is a torii gate to enter through, a haiden which is the main hall of worship, komainu, lion-dog statues, and a wall of ema (wishes). We weren&#8217;t sure what the basin was for, so I took a look inside.
